This was the first piece that I started to work on after arriving in Urbana-Champaign. It is a reaction to the new musical scene that I encountered. The three movements each have a distinctive compositional style and what binds them as a unit is time. Thank you to both Pete Tambroni and Michael Cameron for all their help and dedication with both the creation and the realization of this piece.
